The overnight staff was courteous and pleasant. Day staff not so much. The facility is clean but accomdations are something you might find in a $50 a night motel. Rooms are very small, not a soothing environment!!! Tv's for the two rooms I was in were terrible. Being this is a sleep center you would think there would be insulation in between the walls so you wouldnt hear the person in the room next to you . That is not the case you hear everything in the rooms and in the hallway.. They are also very slow in processing results. I spent a Weds night in the facility, and they didnt get the report back to my Dr until the following Weds. When you need a cpap machine, everynight counts and they dont take that in consideration. The Dr. that owns this place is remote in Ocala and based on the service I received from his office, specifically of non returned phone calls from Fran Evans, its like what you need is unimportant. Out of sight out of mind.... It simply should not take a week to get the info back!!! If I ever have to do this again it wont be at this facility or with this Physician.....

The office staff were very clear in understanding the insurance and my out of pocket cost. (They will verify benefits with your insurance company for you) I had to reschedule several times and they were very understanding. No cancellation fee charged! The staff was great! They discussed the procedure for how results would be sent to my doctor and how long that would take. Reasonable amount of time. It was a very clean and relaxing atmosphere at the lab. I didn't feel like just a number like some of the hospitals and other labs have treated me. The rooms were just the right size for one person. There was cable and they invited me to bring anything from home that would make me comfortable - except my husband...I forgot my pillow and they called to remind me and held it for me to pick up:) Initially I had anxiety about the procedure but all was explained by the my doctor and the technicians. The technician I had was very personable and professional. I have been in a lot of hospitals and medical facilities and this one was one of the best. I didn't feel rushed at any point in the process and the communication was clear and within a reasonable amount of time. Another member of my family is going to have a sleep study and the doctor was going to refer them to another facility. We changed to the Gainesville Sleep Lab and they had the same great experience I did.
