When someone is there for an MRI, apparently they are in pain. I told the x-ray tech that I had a broken tailbone, severe back pain, but she absolutely REFUSED to help me with her hand or arm lay down or get up off the table. I'm an overweight 68 yr. old, & was in extreme pain while there. When she told me that she couldn't help me because she had a "broke back", I asked if she could get someone else to just step in for a minute to help me. She proceeded to tell me NO, there is no one else to help!! If she can't help someone when they need it, they should at least compensate for her having a "broke back" by having someone else available to assist her when a patient needs help. And also, it was such a struggle for me to get laid down on that MRI board, I was out of breath by the time I got laid down. She looked at me & said in a very stern, but rude voice..."I can tell you're a heavy breather, so you're going to have to slow that down for this scan to come out right!!!" REALLY?!?!?! It was my first time there, & it will most definitely be my LAST!!
