First, even your little comment above about your Grandmother, is comletely unneccasry , and insulting. Truly depicts the attitude I received on the 7th floor. All you need to do, is remove any comment that is either disrepectful, or using profane language. The ER doctor was FABOULOUS. I can not say enough wonderful things about him. Sorry, I do not know his name. But he was very knowlege, kind, caring and just wonderful. The ladies who performed my catskan of my head, as well as the xray, of my knee, could not have been more wonderful. The horror that began is when I was taken to the 7th floor at 6:30 pm. Did you know what time my nurse came to see me?? 8:30. During that time, I did go out to see who my nurse was, was not given the infromation and met with an awful attitude. Horrible. While I was in my room alone, a male patinent attempted to come in. That God, I was on the phone with my husband and I told him so and he quickly ran off. He spotted me, when I was first wheeled onto the floor. So please, be more aware of these types of situations. As far as the look of the room, very nice, but when you are sick, who cares? I have been to the other Voorhees Virtua hosptial and recieved MUCH better care on the floor. So, instead of concentrating on the look of your hospital, make the patient your number 1 priority. I was in EXTREME pain. I am currently being treated for lymes disease, and as I said, the ER doctor, was wonderful and knew all about the disease, and the proper treatment. A nurse did come in, that was finishing her shift. It was 7:15, so she was staying past her time. She even told me, she is completely disgusted with the nursing care on the 7th floor, and she was very nice. While I waited and waited, I heard nothing but carrying on from the nurses, laughing, joking, caring on, so they had suffient time to do that, but not even come into my room at all. I had not eaten, nor any type of treatment or medicine. I competely understand, that nurses can not give any meds, until the doctor approves it. If my nurse had come in at a decent time, and of course, would have to call the doctor, that would have been completely understandable. But coming in at for the first time at 8:30 and telling me "I am not her only patient", but I will call the doctor for your meds. I was kind and said, do you know how long that will take, "She said, could be an hour, she doesn't know". Of course I understand that, as you do have to wait for the doctor to approve, but again, if she came in at a decent time, I would not have had to endure the pain, even that much longer. There was one nurse, bless her heart, that was not my nurse, but I went out on the floor, and she did sit down with me, and go over a couple of things. Kudos to her. The rest of the nurses that I tried to get some sort of answer from, where rude, and as if I was bothering them. When you are sick, this is the last thing you need, especially with lymes, as it is a very difficult disease. They should be ashamed of their selves, and I dont think their Grandmother's would be very pleased. As I said, the ER could not have been more perfect, as well as the two wonderful, ladies who performed the test on me. To be honest, it was a nightmare. The hospital is so big, that the nurse from the earlier shift, said I'm so sorry, I didn't even know you were here. This is the same nurse, who stayes past her time, and is completely disgusted with the 7th floor nurses. As a result, you bet, I signed my self out due to lack of care, by the nurses on the 7th floor. I am only sharing all of this with you, so that you can make the proper changes, and I feel needs to be brought to your attention. By the way, the ambulance company, as my Grandmother, Mother and Father taught me, was to always be respectful. During the ride over, one the the paramectic gentelman, asked me a question, and my response was, "Yes, thank you Sir". He blurted out "Do NOT call me Sir". I just apologized. Not something you really want to deal with while you are so ill. Pricing? Nothing was ever discussed about pricing, but honestly, that was the least of my worries, as I just was so ill. Again, Kudos to the ER doctor and ER staff, it is a shame, that the 7th floor nurses, completely, tranished my short stay there. There was nothing wrong with the other facility, so again, please a patient would much prefer care, over a room, that looks like a hotel room, they are just too sick to appreciate it. As I was leaving, this poor man, was hollering in such pain, I was so temepted to go in his room to see if he was okay. But I didn't, because I'm sure I would have been greeted with the same unpleasant attitudes from the nurses. The poor man, not a soul in his room to address his pain. I thank the heavens for the ER doctor, more than I can even express, but again the 7th floor nursing staff, it was a complete nightmare. By the way, my Grandmother (RIP), My Father (RIP) and my Mother, would have been horrifed at how I was treated, or more accurately how I was not treated on the 7th floor. I serioulsy would advise you, to please remove the statement above, about if it not something your Grandmother would want to read. It is so disrespectful and patients do not deserve that. Again, if there is any comment, that is inapporiate, and these comments are actually read, on I would hope, at least a daily basis, you can easily remove them. Sadly, it truly depicts the attitude of the 7th floor, as though we are inmates, in lieu of patients. I will be contacting my primary doctor, as I want ever test result sent to him and then I will receive the proper care. I am broken hearted, that the treatment the ER doctor, thought was best, which gave me such releif, never happened, thanks to the poor care and extemely poor attitudes of the 7th floor nurses, that I came in contact with. Again, I don't think their Grandmother's would be very pleased.

Absolutely abysmal care. Order test after test, no mention of the cost just to order them. Told I need another cat scan although I had the copy of the last one done two days prior. All the inpatient doctors wanted to do was test after test.
