Having an upper GI endoscopy can be a nerve wracking thing. Be the doctors and nurses here put a person at ease right away and I was not uncomfortable at all. I was not kept waiting for any great length of time. Things went smoothly. Everyone was professional and informative and friendly. I felt I was in good hands.

This was my 1st colonoscopy in 30 years and I was pleased to see the advances that have been made in the entire process. My health insurance covered the procedure so I had little discussion about cost. I used the PEG solution prep and it is now much more palatable that in the 90's. Pre-registration online was a blessing allowing me to provide more concise answers at my own pace and in the comfort of my home days before the procedure. Registration at the office was seamless and my wait time was minimal. I had just enough time to review the waiting room bulletin board and enjoy the wonderfully relaxing aviary. The entire staff was efficient and professional yet personable and pleasant. Nurse Sylvia managed my prep, kept me comfortable, and put in my IV line with hardly a pinch. Dr. Zona double checked my records and fully explained and executed the anesthesia. At no point did I experience any discomfort. Dr. Richard Kim was informative and thorough and verbally provided a concise summary of his findings to both me and my spouse. In addition to the discharge summary report I was also provided with supplemental information to help better manage my condition moving forward. I was in and out the door in only 2 hours.
