The facility and faculty itself that I had a mammogram and Breast U/S with was kind. The management group that sent out the bill was horrendous. I spoke with a V, Chrissy and Kersey about this bill. All are in their customer service department as representatives. V, hung up on me because I was upset over the charges because my paper states I owe nothing. He then hung up stating, "Have a good day." I called back and was placed on hold for 13-14minutes and Chris/Chrissy did the exact same thing. I called back the third time and Kersey answered with a slight attitude because he took on the attitudes of his colleagues I'm sure. I asked for a manager 6-7times, but he really didn't want me to speak to one. He gave me an email to send this information from Cigna stating $0 owed as well placing ATTEN: Kersey on the email. He finally after 10+ minutes got Louie/supervisor who also came with an attitude because of taking on the other three colleagues of hers. She states she will pull the recorded conversation and review then move from there. In my honest opinion, nothing will be done nevertheless this bill will be discussed with Cigna. As an Rn I understand daily frustrations of dealing with people and personalities while being spit on, punched or called every name not in the Bible. Yet, I still stand and treat them with the respect that wasn't given to me. I can't slam a phone down, curse them out or keep them waiting waiting on me because I didn't like what was said to me. There would be a lot of sick people to worsen in their concern. It took 30+ minutes to get someone to halfway hear me. Now, was I wrong on my approach? Not at first, but when you are hateful because of a bill sent to me then this may not be the best position for them. I was overcharged by Mecklenburg Radiology and shouldn't have been because I fell at work. my insurance paid and I paid and they would have kept the money had I not caught it myself. Its called fraud. I am a nurse that is considered poor or middle class in American. I pay all my bills by myself. I must pay attention to money paid and owed. This one thing greatly upset me because I pay my bills. I have a 784 credit score and I worked so hard to get it there! No soul should have to be treated badly regardless. I hope others will and has had a better outcome than I did. My opinion is mine alone on these individuals. I still didn't get the name of a manager only a supervisor, but maybe they are one and the same. No matter what we all deserve respect.
